about Wilfried Duwentester

Born in 1946 in Hamm/Westphalia, Wilfried Duwentester studied architecture at the TU Berlin from 1966 to 1969. But already in the first years of his work as an architect, draftsman and construction manager, he discovered his love of art, left architecture and began his autodidactic study of painting in 1979.

From 1985 to 1993, Wilfried Duwentester worked as a painter and later as a sculptor in Berlin. Since 1994 he has lived and worked in Görzhausen, in Mecklenburg Switzerland.
